Structure & Management

The Future Cities management structure consists of specific know-how at the partners as well as transnational teams: the project management team at the Lead Partner (LP); the Future Cities Project Steering Group, the Future Cities Advisory Pool, and the Future Cities thematic working groups.

The project management at the Lead Partner secures that all project and financial management actions necessary are carried out.

The Regional Partners (PP) are responsible for their activities, their reporting to the LP and the conduction of joint work, e.g. the "Twinning". They are responsible for the results of Work Packages and common actions and they conduct the transnational exchange of know-how. The Sub-Partners are responsible for singular activities in the project and take part in the joint work as appropriate.

The Project Steering Group consists of one representative per partner and is the central steering body.

The Advisory Pool has two main groups:

The scientific advisory pool provides scientific support by "research in the field of climate change". The strategic advisory pool provides guidance on regional and national policies "adapting to climate change".

Members of the scientific and strategic advisory pool

Thematic work groups related to each WP meet at least twice a year providing for exchange and targeted work for the joint products and results. Each WG is coordinated by 2 partners from different countries.
