Working Group chairs agree on concept for assessment check

The chairs of the 4 Future Cities Working Groups met on Wednesday 27th January 2010 in Essen, Germany, to develop the concept of the assessment check for climate-proof city regions. While outside the local climate was influenced by the deep winter with low temperatures and lots of snow, the inside discussions were in the light of creative ideas heating up the discussion. Weather the joint tool, that the Future Cities partnership works out the next months, will be named assessment tool, planning guidance or decision making process, will have to be determined - but that it will give good guidance on how to make our cities climate-proof, was the agreed basis for the further process.
