120 practitioners and scientists met at the Future Cities Mid-term Conference

Participants from the municipal and regional level from all over Europe attended to the Mid-term Conference to discuss the adaptation needs of city regions and to exchange experiences made with adaptation measures.

Also, at the conference the Northwest European Cluster on Adaptation to Climate Change “SIC-adapt!” started officially its work. Anke Möllers from the programme secretariat handed over the subsidy contract to the Lead Partner of Future Cities, Lippeverband, as cluster leader.

Through the Cluster eight transnational projects with almost 100 project partners combine their efforts for promoting and achieving effective adaptation throughout Northwest Europe.
